Have you noticed Lakeside is growing! There are new hay bale swales, banana circles, a garden archway and a heap of new plantings. Our friends at the Patch have moved from Leanyer to Lakeside and are very busy designing and establishing new gardens.
They have some great community volunteers and welcome more. Come down on Sunday afternoons to get involved. Say hello to Judy, Cath and the rest of the Patch team at Lakeside.

Come together with your children to connect with outdoor natural spaces and learn about local food.
Billee, the volunteer program coordinator was also profiled recently as one of GULPS community cooks. Check out her tasty recipe for Fetta and Spinach Buckwheat Pancakes made with local greens.

Thank you TNP and CDU!

Many thanks to Territory Native Plants for the donation of over 70 trees and Casey with his team of Charles Darwin University students. The students planted native trees along the fence line and installed drip irrigation for them. We hope you enjoy watching them grow! Thank you, what a great support of our community garden.
